We have designed textbook covers for medical publishers since the late 90’s. Most of the designs shown were created for Wolters Kluwer, formerly Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins, in many cases for their most valued titles and authors. The genesis of the designs either involved relevant imagery initially provided by the author as a basis for the cover, or we were free to develop our own concepts. Usually, at least two or three cover design concepts were then submitted in PDF format for approval. The covers shown feature custom digitally-altered composites or collages of photos and artwork which is a hallmark of our work.
